GCS Weekly Warm Up (100616)

Posted October 7, 2016

Hello my singing friends!

Wow that last practice went by like a flash! Thanks again to Grace, who helped us understand rhythm by showing us the difference between the various notes.

What We Sang Last Week
We worked on A Red, Red Rose and Thinking Out Loud, then we reviewed Flashlight, Danny Boy, The Last Rose of Summer, Imagine and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

What We’re Singing Next!
We’ll be working on Thinking Out Loud, Red Red Rose, Queen and possibly HMS Pinafore.

We were supposed to start working on HMS Pinafore this past Wednesday, but we were missing some key singers, namely MEN! Tenors and Baritones, your presence is requested ?

Practice Tracks
Most of the pieces are on our website now. Have a listen! Click on The password is ‘gcs’.

REMINDER: Check around you and make sure that you take everything home including paper, water bottles, etc.

Sesquicentennial Singing
Cool news! We have been invited to join the Guelph Chamber Choir and celebrate Canada’s Sesquicentennial in November 2017. More news soon!
