Hi my singing friends!

BADGES!

Who needs a badge? Obviously all you lovely new members (we now have 80 singers this session!!) will need badges. I will have them for you at this week’s practice. Those of you who were in the last session and still have your badges, please wear them and introduce yourselves. Those of you who may have (ahem) temporarily mislaid them, send me a message and I’ll make you a new one.

LAST WEEK WE SANG:

    • Now is the Month of Maying
    • Since First
    • Into the Woods
    • Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat

MUSIC READING WORKSHOP AND SECTIONALS THIS WEDNESDAY

Join us at 6:45 in the piano parlour for a fun workshop on music reading. You don’t need to have signed up to come. Then, go straight to your area at 7:30. Altos in parlour, basses and tenors in room next to it, and sopranos upstairs.

MARCH BREAK

No rehearsal on March 16th

GET SOCIAL

Still looking for a social committee! We have one volunteer so far. If you want choir to be more than just Wednesday evening practices, this is the committee for you. This committee will plan social events outside of regular rehearsal hours, events such as Music Movie Nights, visits to other choir concerts, Opera outings at the movie theatres, or any other fun activities you can think of. This committee might also manage carpooling when possible.

CARPOOL REQUEST: Geoff Krauter could really use a ride to our practices. He lives on College Street West. If you happen to be coming from the West End or from the South End, would you consider giving him a lift? Contact me and I’ll connect you.
