Hi Everyone:

June 4 will be here before we know it. Time to start looking for volunteers to help out at our Spring Concert. For those who have been involved in the past, you will, basically, know where help is needed. For those who are new this year, being a helper is a wonderful way to get to know other choir members. I try to make sure the jobs are not too burdensome for anyone.

This week, I am letting everyone know the various areas where we need help. Next week, May 11, I will have sign-up sheets on the table at the front of the church. All ready for you to add your name and e-mail address. I have a full description of every job that I will pass along to all volunteers.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – CHOIR MEMBERS:

  • 5 KITCHEN/REFRESHMENTS
  • 4 SETTING UP THE SANCTUARY
  • 6 TAKING DOWN THE SANCTUARY
  • 4 SELLING 50/50 TICKETS

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – NON-CHOIR MEMBERS:

  • 2 GREETERS/HAND OUT PROGRAMS
  • 2 TICKET TAKERS/SELLERS
  • 1 VOLUNTEER TO COUNT PROCEEDS OF 50/50 DRAW

REFRESHMENTS:

Again, there will be refreshments at intermission. I trust everyone will bring one item for the refreshment table to share with each other and all our guests. Please bring to the church kitchen already prepared (cut) on your own plate or bowl from home, – properly covered with saran wrap. These can be immediately placed on the tables set up in the auditorium – ready for intermission. Of course, you will have to remember to take your plate/bowl back home after the concert. Please bring FINGER FOODS only – nothing requiring a fork or spoon to eat. Suggestions: squares / cookies / candies / any kind of loaf / tarts / cheese & crackers / veggies / fruit / bowl of potato chips, doritos, etc.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please e-mail me directly, moldenhauer.b@sympatico.ca or phone 519 824 6172.

Thanks so much

Barbara Moldenhauer
